About Maas
Maas is a group of young people, which was formed following the civil uprising in Israel during the summer of 2011.
The group came together to take forward the desire of young people in Israel to invest in shaping the future of their country and society.
This motivated and talented generation is expressing a genuine desire to lead changes from "the inside" through integration into Israeli “systems of influence".
In this great “civil energy” lies an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen and empower the public service in Israel, which
suffers from a lack of talented personnel and a dearth of innovation and creativity.
Generating comprehensive access for a new generation of young and professional leaders to the public service necessitates a deep structural change.
The Maas Group has taken it upon itself to promote this wide and systematic change, with the aim of empowering and revitalizing the public governance systems in Israel.
